I saw Ms. Murray speak this week and found her story very inspirational. If you ever have the opportunity to see her, do not hesitate to go. She will not disappoint.

I am trying to get a copy of this movie. The copy that I have is a recorded copy on a VCR tape that is not the best quailty and I would love to buy a new copy of it. I am a teacher and have shown this movie to my students since it came out the first time on lifetime. My students absoultely love it and it touches all of them in more ways than any other movie that they have seen. Does anyone know how I can order a new copy, if so please e-mail me at spurlocks@whitehouseisd.org. I am not sure if anyone has had Liz to speak at their school, but if you have I would love more information about how to find out if she is still doing public speaking as an outreach. Thank you to anyone who has any helpful information. This is an amazing and powerful story. When my students get the opportunity to see the movie they are so glad that they got to here Liz's story and can not believe that it is a true story.

I don't know how to obtain a copy of her video; however, I have recently heard her speak - very powerful. I understand that she is represented by the Washington Speakers Bureau and may be expensive. That said, she may do some pro bono work and might come to your school. Here is a link to her page on the speakers bureau -- good luck!

Great story. I have seen it many times but would like my high school class to watch it. If Liz ever gets out this way, I am at Staunton River High School in Bedford Co. and teach an Individual Development class. I would like her to speak to the student body and maybe take a trip to the Children and adolescent unit of Carilion's Psychiatric Rehab.
Thank you for being brave anough to have the story, and also to re live it so many times so others don't have to.
I would like a copy to show my students. Where can I get one?

If anyone could help with this its much appreciated. I am a teacher at a high school in Massachusetts. My wife and I watched this movie approximatley two weeks ago. I am desparately trying to obtain a copy of the movie for my classes. This is a tremendous story and one I know will make a significant impact with these young people. The story was so incredibly moving on many levels she is now the subject of our next writing assignment.

What struck me was the compassion, perseverance, the circumstances she found herself in and the combination of obstacles Miss Murray had to overcome. If anyone has information on how to obtain a copy from Lifetime or an authorized distributor, please email me at Jbedard1963@yahoo.com. Any assistance is welcomed on behalf myself and all the students yet to be touched by this remarkable story. Thank you for anything you might be able to share.
