When Cheyenne (Joanna Garcia) feels the baby kick for the first time, it overwhelms Van (Steve Howey) and makes the baby seem real to him. Reba's (Reba McEntire) old friend Lori Ann (Park Overall) arrives to tell Reba that she is moving back to Houston, and encourages Reba to get out and have some fun. Brock (Christopher Rich) and Barbra Jean (Melissa Peterman) stop by and Lori Ann cannot believe that Reba tolerates Barbra Jean. Reba explains that she does it for the kids because they need to see their father. Later, Van reads about pregnancy and is facinated, and says he will do whatever he can for the baby. Lori Ann helps Reba sort out Brock's possesions and Reba reminisces about old golf clubs that she gave to Brock when they were newly married. They find a picture that implies that Brock cheated on Reba with Barba Jean before they were separated, and Reba is shocked. Reba confronts Brock about the picture, but Brock insists that he started seeing Barbra Jean after they were separated. Reba does not believe him. Reba and Lori Ann go out for drinks, and Barbra Jean shows up, explaining that she was not with Brock at the time of the picture, but rather with another married dentist. She asks Reba not to tell Brock. That night, Van refuses to let Cheyenne eat chocolate or watch television, saying it is not good for the baby. He admits he is going overboard, but wants to be a good father. Reba comes home to find Cheyenne sleeping on the couch because Van keeps waking her up to ask if she is sleeping well. Reba remembers that Brock did something similar when she was pregnant. The next day Reba apologizes to Brock for jumping to conclusions the day before.
