BOOOOOOOO! RITA IS NOT ROCKIN! There must have been a change of personsell at lifetime headquarters cuz this show is just an atrosity to mankind. KEEP GOLDEN GIRLS!!
As for the "original programming" Lifetime is trying to push...it's anything BUT original, of poor quality and entirely unwatchable.
Several months ago when I first heard Lifetime would longer air Golden Girls I couldn't believe it, I thought the powers that be at Lifetime would come to their senses and correct this monumental error of judgment. I certainly hope that something changes before Lifetime loses a large percentage of it's viewership because of this!
~Livid but loyal Lifetime viewer and Golden Girls fan!
Lifetime you suck. How dare you take off the Golden Girls! I agree with everyone else once Golden Girls is off the air I will not be watching Lifetime anymore! The golden Girls is the only reason I watch lifetime. I like no other shows you network shows.
When "The Golden Girls" leave so will I.
I do not like any of their programs. They can add more bad reality shows if they want.
I am sure Hallmark and WE tv will see an increase in their viewers because of "The Golden Girls".
Goodbye Lifetime, you blew it.
Thanks for not being a friend.
I will see my girls at their new networks soon.
So much for gratitude, huh? Apparently they have forgotten it was GG's (and their fans) that put Lifetime on the map! I do enjoy some of their movies, which btw have gotten better in the past few years , but their org programming? OMG! They suck. The show Blush is absolutely HORRIBLE, Wife swap stinks too. And the new show DietTribe? Who needs another show about fat women losing weight? Enough already!
I watch Reba everyonce in awhile but only when I'm too lazy to get up and find the remote, LOL.
I got so tired of Lifetimes schedule changes regarding the GG's I got a DVR thru DirectTV. I love it. It allows me to watch them when ever I want to. Same with Designing Women on TV Land, which I just found out as stopped showing DW as of Dec 31. I am bummed about that b/c you can't find DW on DVD's. I do have 29 episodes saved on my DVR though. Yeah for me!
I will boycott Lifetime when GG's leaves at the end of Febuary.
-Everybody- loves the Girls!!!!!
Somebody please post when they learn Hallmark and WE's schedule for the Girls. Let's hope the timeslot doesn't s*ck.
Lifetime is so CLUELESS.

Hallmark Channel has bought the rights to The Golden Girls from Disney-ABC Domestic Television.
The Emmy Award-winning show will begin running on the cable network after February 2009, when it will leave its longtime home, Lifetime Television. The deal does not give Hallmark exclusive rights, however.
Hold on to your knickers! Lifetime has sold the rights to Hallmark, Lifetime will stop airing GG in the beginning of Feb 2009.
